Documentary photographer Antti YrjönenHi!

I’m Antti, a 25-year-old documentary and press photographer based in Helsinki, Finland. I’m open for all kinds of commissions and will gladly travel to wherever I’m needed.

I have experience in press photography covering current stories for agencies, newspapers and NGOs as well as in longer-term projects: for example documenting everyday challenges of children for the Vantaa City Museum. I’ve also organised photography-related workshops and photowalks at the museum. I enjoy architectural photography and use drones for a different perspective.

The way I work is communicative and spontaneous. When I photograph people I try my best to create the image in dialogue with the person in front of the camera.

My news and stock photography is syndicated by Lehtikuva and NurPhoto. I’m a member of the Finnish Association of Photojournalists, the Union of Journalists in Finland and the Photographic Centre Nykyaika. I have studied photojournalism at the University of Tampere.
